The Outbreak Response and Bioterrorism Investigation Team (ORBIT) is responsible for disease surveillance on enteric and respiratory diseases, as well as investigations of food-borne, waterborne, community and institutional disease outbreaks.  ORBIT also responses to bioterrorism incidents in Ohio.
